The Food and Drug Administration (Philippine FDA) formerly known as the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) is a government agency under the Department of Health that is in-charge of regulation and supervision of food safety, prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, traditional medicines, veterinary products, cosmetics, medical devices and hazardous substances.
